Penrith Symphony Orchestra

Penrith Symphony Orchestra is the leading community orchestra in the western Sydney region. Since its foundation in 1988, it has worked with numerous distinguished conductors and soloists to make a major contribution to the cultural life of the region. In 2000 it was recognised as Community Orchestra of the Year by The Orchestras of Australia Network.

In 2006, the orchestra's 16th annual subscription series scaled new heights. Highlights including the first performance of Mahler's mighty Symphony No 1, and the orchestra played to full houses throughout the year.

Don’t miss PSO’s exciting 2007 subscription series, a season packed with familiar and new works by Romantic masters and contemporary Australian composers, plus a dazzling line-up of concerto soloists. Read more
