This year’s theme is Let’s Go with the PSO and Big G and the orchestra will take the children on a musical journey by car, train, bus, aeroplane and even a submarine. 

The program includes songs and nursery rhymes based around the theme, all arranged especially for children by conductor George Ellis (Big G). To give a taste of classical music the orchestra will play Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Ledger’s Indian Pacific, Mathew Hindson’s RPM and to conclude, a promenade around a picture gallery to Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky. For our Picture Gallery, please ask the children to paint or draw a picture of any vehicle such as a car/bus/aeroplane/ boat, bicycle, on a large piece of paper roll it up and bring it to the concert with them for our Exhibition.
